- After having invested significant budget branding the Guaranty Residential Lending name, the company was sold to The New York Mortgage Company. This ad provided a transitional message, leveraging the strengths behind both companies' brand positionings.
- We cut Montesi Volkswagen's print budget significantly, without giving up a strong presence. Instead of buying expensive ads in the Saturday Auto section, we bought one small space ad each Saturday that ran on the front page of MAIN NEWS. Instead of reaching only those in the market for cars who were shopping prices, we branded Montesi to the entire circulation of the paper each Saturday, while still maintaining a presence with buyers in the market that weekend.
- In a down year for cars, we produced a print campaign for both the Metro Portland New Car Dealers Association and Oregon Auto Dealers communicating why it was a good time to buy a car. The "Buying Signal On" icon is derived from the familiar ramp sign seen on Portland's interstates.
